There were no authentic moon sighting (*Halal*) for the month of Jumaada Al-Akhir 1433 Hijri anywhere in America. Therefore, Jumaada Al-Awwal 1433 Hijri will complete its 30 days and the 1st Jumaada Al-Akhir 1433 Hijri will be on April 23rd, 2012.

New crescent moon (*Halal*) for the month of Rabil al-Akhir 1433 Hijri was sighted in North America on February 22nd, 2012. Therefore 1st Rabil al-Akhir 1433 Hijri will be on February 23rd, 2012.

New crescent moon (*Halal*) for the month of Rabil al-Awwal 1433 Hijri was not sighted anywhere in North and South America on January 23, 2012. So the month of Safar will complete its 30 days and the 1st of Rabil al-Awwal 1433 Hijri will be on Janurary 25th, 2012. Inshallah.

Moon for the month of Muharram 1433 Hijri
There were no reliable moon sightings for the new crescent moon (*Hilal*) on Friday evening (November 25th, 2011) in North or Central America. The Moon was clearly sightable on Saturday November 26th, 2011. So, this marks Sunday November 27th, 2011 the beginning of the sacred month of Muharram 1433 Hijri. Happy New Year!

There are reliable multiple sightings of the new crescent moon (*Hilal*) on Thursday evening (October 27th, 2011) in Carribean, Panama and San Jose, CA. This marks the end of the month of Dhu al-Qi'dah, and the beginning of the sacred month of Dhul-Hijjah 1432 Hijri, with its first day occuring on Friday, October 28, 2011. Eid al-Adha and 10th of Dhul-Hijjah 1432, will be on Sunday, November 6 2011.
